Sets Nuptial Date
The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Susan
Diane Thompson and J. Paul Heberle Jr. were announced at
a party given Saturday in the Century II Club in Fort Worth
National Bank.
The couple will be married Dec. 16.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Thompson, 1408 Crowley Road, Arlington.
Heberle is the son of Dr. and Mrs. James P. Heberle, 312
Dian.
Miss Thompson, a member of Pi Phi Social Sorority, will

the Beginning Day for the
Omega Delta Chapter of
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

duced for the year.
Following a business
meeting, conducted by Mrs.
Nancy Young, a cultural
program entitled “Growing
Up” was presented by Mrs.
Connie Cranford and Mrs.
Myra Wood, their discussion
brought out the basic capaci-
ties, which all possess at
birth and what can be done
to improve them.
Each member brought a
baby picture and had fun

Organizational meeting
was held last Thursday and I
am very pleased to say that
we formed three new first
grade, one second, one third
and one fourth grade troop.
There is enough girls in the
5th grade for a troop, but we
have been unable to locate a
leader for these girls. (If
there is anyone who would
like to work with girls 11
years of age we would love
to have you. It is not
. necessary to havp-g gir.lJ.his
or for that matter to
have any children at all. Just
be willing to give some time,
love, and then be ready to
step back and reap the
rewards of achievement and
self-satisfaction).
The flag ceremony was
held by Junior Troop 241
under the direction of Helen
Hays, leader. Becky Perkins,

plained the organization
framework and helped
everyone form the troops.
