that He loves.” For two years
or more the fanners of Grimes
Cbunty have been chastized. Two
years ago when the crops were
most promising, came the great
flood of rain that submerged the nicest, pure fruit—and popular.

crops of the bottom farmers.
With great pluck ;and courage
they replanted again for the com-
ing year under the most adverse
circumstances and conditions, as
they were in debt to their mer-
chants and those that; bad helped
them make the cro p, but they
toiled, sweated and worked under , _
the hot broiling sunsi of July and Johnston, relative to building an
August, 1900. Their labors seem-
ed not to be in vain for the crop
