Description

Letter from Helen P. Thorne to Jeane Bertig Kempner discussing having thanked Mary Jean for a book Mrs. Kempner had actually sent her. She thanks Mrs. Kempner but also informs her that her eyesight is going and therefore she is unable to read the gift. Mrs. Throne also talks about her son; Oakleigh making a speech at an event and how proud she is of him before sending her well wishes to Mrs. Kempner and her husband.
