the SAC Book Store. Located on
the lower floor of the Loftin Stu-
dent Center, the store will be
open from 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday
through Thursday. On Friday the 8:30-11:30 a.m.; 1-4 p.m., and 5-8
p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Hours will be the same on Fri-
day except the store will not be
open in the evening. On Satur-
day, buy back hours will be from
8:30-1 p.m.

Get Scholarships
Eleven netters, three of which
are returning from last year will
be playing for the 1968-69 Ranger
basketball team under scholar-
ship, according to Basketball
Coach Tom Smith.
With the team again this year,
are B. J. Russell, a Jefferson
alumni; Glenn Burrais from Pear-
sall and Roger Littlefield of Mar-
ion. New to the squad this year
are Gary Kensing, MacArthur
graduate and transferee from
Texas Lutheran College and Les-
lie Thomas, a Sam Houston High
graduate.
Also coming to SAC straight
from high school are Terry Hen-
drick of Churchill, Frank Lujan
from South San, Terry Reed of
Edison, Danny Solis from San
Diego, Texas; Steve Bartley of

proofreaders and headline writ-
ers. Former annual members will
enjoy the innovative magazine,
THE FOURTH WRITE, which will
be issued four times a year.
This new format will allow stu-
dents to layout entire picture
stories and learn to use type.
THE FOURTH WRITE still retains
some of the traditional year-
book characteristics with indivi-
dual pictures being included in
one of the issues.
Local credit may be obtained
by taking Journalism 101 or
Journalism 102, while Journal-
ism majors may take journalism
301 or Journalism 612.
