the double ring ceremony be-
fore an altar decorated with
greenery and branch candela-
bra holding white tapers. M-

Thou Goest” and the tradi-
tional wedding music.

valentine craft
Debbie Franklin called the
meeting of the Merry Blue
Birds to order and Dena Wil-
son collected the dues. Sheri
Culifer led the Blue Bird Wish
“Tp have fun”.
The group finished their
Valentine plaques. Sharon Cl-
ark led a song and Debbie
Barnes was game leader.
Nancy Morris was refre-
shment chairman and served
cookies to 11 members. The
leaders gave each a small box
of Valentine candy. The mee-
ting ended with the girls form-
ing their friendship circle and
singing the Goodbye Song.

The Presbyterian Ladies’
Missionary Society met Mon-
day afternoon in the home of
Mrs. Martha J. Emerson, with
president Mrs. H. H. Sears
presiding, who also gave the
thought for the day, “You did-
n’t Ask”.
Minutes were read by the
secretary, Ruth Cox.
Mrs. Floyd Bassett gave
the treasurer’s report.
The devotional, “Heroes
of Faith” was by Miss Mar-
dell Pumphrey.
Mrs. T. E. Sears gave the
yearbook of prayer, “Leban-
non.”
Mrs. Vera Hickman read
an article, “Presbytery of So-
uthern Florida.”
Miss Ruth Cox was leader
for the afternoon and her sub-
ject was “Faith”, with each
member taking part. Mrs.
Bassett sang “Faith of Our
Fathers”.
The meeting was closed

arrangement were the three
tiered wedding cake and a
silver punch service.

Linda Starkey and Mrs. He-
len Griffin, were the recep-
tion assistants. Miss Connie
Williams registered the gue-
sts.
For travelling, Mrs. Bill-
ner wore a royal blue knit
dress and the orchid from her
bridal bouquet. The couple
will be at home in Dallas.

Mrs. Mabel Vestal and
Mrs. Ruby Cawthon gave thef

Pickles”. At the conclusion
of the program recipes were?
given to the eight members
present.
Mrs. Mary Lou Worthan

The next meeting will be
on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 10:30
at the club house with Mrs.

The Baptist WMU met at
the church at 2:30 D.m.. Mrs.
J. FL Gosnell, Bible chairman
