Missionary Society met Mon-
day afternoon in the home of
Mrs. Bill Holloway with the
president Mrs. H.H. Sears pr-
esiding and gave the thought
for the day.
In the absence of the sec-
retary, Miss Ruth Cox, Mrs.
Martha Jo Emerson gave the
minutes.
The Year Book of Prayer
was given by Mrs. T.E. Sears,
assisted by Mrs. Emerson.
Rev. c.C. Dooley offered pra-
yer for the missionaries.
Miss Mardelle Pumphrey
gave the devotional, Matthew
7:7; her subject was “comit-
ment.”
Mrs. Holloway was leader
for a very interesting program
“Meditation by Youth’*. The
young men in the Y.W.c.A.
and the good they are doing
was stressed. Mrs. Holloway
was assisted by Mrs. Wallace
