regiments of soldier- have camped tn Ed-
inburg over night the la-t month on their
return to permanent camp at McAllen and
Pharr after being on a twelve day hike
mi the northern part ot Hidalgo county.
The member- of the Methodist church
served delicacies to the-e weary hiker-
ami succeeded in raising the debt on the
new church which \va- erected a year and
a half ago. Five hundred and fifty-three
dollars. The men enjoyed the lunches
of fried chicken. pie> cakes and lemon-
tub' and alwav- gave order- tor more
which were promptly tilled.
