24 students jaunt
to Arlington festival
Former TJC student David Cort-
Brassey overpowers Dave Taylor
in a demonstration of Korean
karate, tae kwon do. Both are UTA
students.
The1 volleyball team beat the
team from Lamar University, but
lost to Southwest Texas State
University.
Flickerball was cancelled be-
cause of the cold, wet weather.
Other activities for the day
included rollerskating, patio pool,
pinball, pool, a karate exhibition,
and a roller disco exhibition.
Leopard Tales classified ads are run

The 24 students made up TJC’s
softball, volleyball and flickerball
teams.
The softball team played three

Hardin-Simmons, North Lake and
Midwestern State Universities.
