LET US GIVE THANKS
By
MAKE FRIDAY NIGHT YOUR TEMPLE NIGHT
— BRING A FRIEND —
It is interesting to realize that the
theme of the history of Judaism is one of
“O give thanks unto the Lord for He is
good, for His mercy endureth forever.” We
are a religious community that has known
^Mbuch suffering and persecution all over
^Wne world, but our reaction has not been
the melancholy sigh but the proud declara-
tion of faith and joy in our God. In our
Temple life we follow this ideal, and in
appraising the entire year and in looking
forward to the years that are ahead, we
thank God our Heavenly Father from whom
all blessing flow.
Our Congregation displays courage and
faith and through this reveals how Juda-
ism is a living force among us. Everyone
who served the Congregation the past year
is a better person because of it. All who
participated in the worship and study and
problems of our Temple deepened their
awareness of spiritual responsibility. May
God go with us always.

A S we approach the end of another
/% active year it is fitting that we give
X Jk thanks to God for all the blessings
that have come to us as a Congregation.
Some in our midst have known the bitter-
ness of sorrow, the grief of separation, the
pain of illness, and to them we extend our
loving sympathy.
