OFFICERS CLUB ORGANIZED
The Officers' Club, consisting of
all commissioned and non-com^
missioned i officers was organized,
and the following officers elected:
-Vernon Adams, president; Ernest
Johnson, vice-president; Claude
Kay, seci'etary-treasurer. The
purpose of this club is' two fold.
I'"rst it is a place of work where
all officers meet, once a week and
discuss military matters, carrying
regular assignments in the man-
ual. Second it affords some of
the season's best socials.
The club consists of about thir-
live members, all earnest hard
working men. The first - social
was booked for October 19. Ow-
. ing to the fact that the ladies can
, get out except on Friday and Sat-
urday nights, it seems as though
the party will have to be a stag
or a smoker. But give us the
Clauds, Monty and Adams and we
will have a great time among our-
selves. \ .
