Little Mike., after a few moments

Moodily Little Mike called on
Dare that evening. He sat at the
table in her living room starring
at the still unsigned resignation.
Dare was packing a suitcase,
"Stop worrying, Mike. Your
father was bound to be disap-

signed it. Things are so final in

day evening at 8 o’clock, announce-
ment was made of the: marriage of
her sister, Miss Frances Thomas, to
Mr. H. A. Mueller, Jr.mof Kenedy, on
August 11, 1984. in Houston. The an-
nouncement, came as a surprise to all
present, but congratulations and best
wishes showered upon Mrs. Mueller
were not the less cordial and sincere.
At the close of the games of the
evening, refreshments were served; a
dainty flower pot of ice cream, cov-
ered with chocolate and two dainty
sweetheart rosebuds growing out of
the pot, with a square of white angel-
food cake. A card stuck in the flow-
er pot made this announcement:
"Frances and H. A., August Hr 1934".
Mrs. Mueller graduated with honors
from Stephen F. Austin high school
and was an honor student at Univer-
sity of Texas, until her junior year,
when she went from the university to
Waco to attend a business college. At
the time of her graduation at busi-
ness college, the record she had made
in the work was the highest ever made
by a student in that school. Imme-
diately following her graduation from
business college, she accepted the po-
sition of secretary to the superintend-
ent of schools in Bryan. Soon she
accepted another position as secretary
to the registrar atA.&M. college
where she is still employed.
