. PHI EEft SIGMA EXTENDS INVITATIONS FOR SPRING 1993
Phi Eta Sigma, Freshman Honor Society offers membership to full-time students
who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better during their freshman
year. Only eight percent of college freshmen throughout the nation achieve this
distinction. The Tarleton Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma has sent invitations for
membership to the students listed below. If your name appears on this list,
please come by the office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Davis
Hall in, and fill out a rtembership card. The TSU Chapter will hold its
induction ceremony on April 15.

HOTC Cadet of the Month
The TSU ROTC Cadet of the Month for February is c/SSG. Adam Rogers of Penyton, Texas. The'son of
Mr. and Mrs. Don Rogers, Adam is a criminal justice major who also works as a Resident Advisor in
Ferguson Hall.. In his sccond year of ROTC at Tarleton, he is a Squad Leader and member of the TSU
Rangers. Adam lias also been a key member of the ROTC Ranger Challenge team both his freshman and
sophomore years. His future plans include an active duty commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry.
