Dear Marion:I have yours of the 30th, and, of course, it is
all to write these letters for you.no trouble at
I have written to our people in Copenhagen and Brussels. I
don't think our people in either Rotterdam or Copenhagen will be much
good to you, but they are certainly there if you need any assistance or
advice. On the other hand, I strongly recommend you look up the Henri-
jeans in Brussels. They are insurance people with whom we do a lot of
business and have known for many years. Mr. Henrijean is quite elderly
but Mr. Patlen, his son-in-law, is much nearer your age. They are
extremely distinguished people and are certainly willing to give you a good
time in Brussels. They are also in a position to get you anywhere in
Belgium that you want to go and possibly in other countries too.
Ruth and I have recurrent fits of sadness at the thought that both
Sandy and Shrub will be away next year.October ?
