PLAYTIME WITH A PURPOSE
Every child, no matter how big, small or physically able has a
right to play. So, when members of the community wanted to
"2
build a playground where children with different abilities could
play, Southwestern Electric Power Company employees David
Langston and Twila Griffin knew they’d found something to
get behind and do anything they could to help. These two
F employees joined in as the volunteer construction crew. And
every season, they’re back, along with some of their SWEPCO
friends to keep the park in playtime condition. It’s just
another example of our people doing all they
can to keep little miracles like the Leaps
and Bounds Playground going strong.
We may be a power company, but
the true power in our communities

comes from our people.
