The Rt. Rev. John E. Hines,
Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese
of Texas, will preach the sermon
Sunday morning, July 20 at 11
a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal
Church.
Bishop Hines is one of the
outstanding preachers of- the
church. He was chosen to be
bishop coadjutor after a pastor-
ate at Christ Church, Houston.
He is a young man and has
been in Navasota before. This
will be 'an opportunity for those
who have not heard him to be
present at the service, the Rev.
A. H. Beardsley, priest in charge
of St. Paul's, said.
Bishop Hines has been invited
especially that the church and
community might become ac-
quainted with him.
The Turkish students, a part
of a group of 45 agriculture spe-
cialists from the Turkish Minis-
ter of Agricultural, were here to.

used by the John D. Rogers Seed
Company in production and dis-
tribution of improved state cer-
tified cotton planting' seed.
There are fourteen subject
matter fields representing alt
phases of agriculture in the
group of students. On July 16
the group left for California for
a similar period of . study which
