Our Synagogue is proud to sponsor a family learning experience with the
Jewish Learning Exchange. The Jewish Learning Exchange is a network
of educators, professionals and community resource people throughout North
America. Together they create sophisticated Jewish study programs designed
to inform and stimulate today’s American Jewish community. The J.L.E.
offers a wide range of classes, lectures and seminars from its central
offices in Monsey, New York, through its Regional Centers in Brooklyn,
Miami, Los Angeles, and Toronto, and also through - campus and community
groups throughout North America. Participants in J.L.E. programs last year
numbered more than 2500 people in communities such as Providence, Rhode
Island, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Savannah, Georgia and on campuses including
the University of Colorado and Michigan State University, with programs
ranging in length from one hour to two weeks.
The parent organization of the Jewish Learning Exchange is Orr Somayach
Neve Yerushalaym - a world-wide network of adult Jewish education programs
and facilities serving nearly 10,000 students in full and part-time
programs each year.
The learning will take place Monday evening, July 25th through Sunday,
July 31st in our Synagogue. For more details or information and reser-
