'Mr. Frank S Taylor, who has just
been elected chairman of the executive
committee, stoles that negotiations are
now under way for the big festival to
take place about the 1st of May. and
he -expects that it will be one of the
best music functions that has ever
been given in Austin. even in the
state. Effort will be made to have
splendi orehestrnl numbers and spe-
cial attention will be given to the chil-
dien’s convert. The organization is
enthusiastic over the prospect of a

indeed be proud of this yearly festival.-
Mr. Taylor desires to say to all
singers that no special, written or ver-
