The body of Representative John B.
Lee of Quitman, 55 years old, was sent
to his former home, following his death
yesterday morning. He was ill two
weeks ffom typhoid pneumonia, com-
plicated with acute Bright’s disease.
He is survived by a widow, five chil-
dren. C. W. Lee of Dallas, Travis and
Jerald Ice of Quit man, und Avis and
i Maggie Lee of Quitman.
J Mr. Lee was born in Coosy County,
I Alabama, March 8, 1863; moved to
Texas in 1866, and settled in Woods
County. He was a member of the Ode
Fellows and the Woodmen of the
I World. He served only one term in
the Thirty-fifth Legislature, introduc-
ing two bills that were enacted int0
