DEDICATION
Many hours have gone into the nreDeration of this book
and we are indebted especially to Mrs. Lela P. Muller
who prepared manuscripts for editing and accumulating
the final materials, and to Alma Haddick for long hours
of typing to put the book in its final form. We wish to-
thank Lee College for the printing of the book at a minimum
cost.
This book is distributed during this bicentennial year as
a reminder to all teachers past, present and future who
give of their time and talent with a love of spreading to
the youth of this nation knowledge that they may know that
tuth is what has kept man free for 200 years in this nation.
May their spirit and dedication so penetrate the lives of all
that no agency of goyernment will be able to enslave them and
that America still will remain free. It shall be our prayer
that our people shall remain pledged to freedom of religion,
freedom of speech and liberty and justice for all.
We thank Mrs. Muller for serving so efficiently as Chairman
of our local Bicentennial Committee.
