Recall that I said something a
while back about how easy it
would be to crash any of the
family reunions in Finch Park?
Well, this happened last Sunday.
Two boys, names withheld, came
to the Wilmeth Settlement re-
union, and thinking it at the
bandstand, stopped there and en-
joyed a fine dinner. Everybody
welcomed them as relatives.
Eventually, seeing nobody they
knew, they inquired and found
it to be the Johns’ family re-
union. Undaunted, they came on
over to the correct reunion and
ate another dinner.

start September 3. Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. Lee Bourland of Blue Ridge
are the teachers. Mr. and Mrs.
Arleigh Rogers and Curly Starnes
are bus drivers and Mrs. Curly.
Starnes is in charge of the school

Littrell arrived home from Cal-
ifornia Sunday where they re-
ceived theire discharge from the
Navy after 21 months service.
We are glad to have them home
again.

Receives B- S. Degree
H. D. Mouzon III, son of Mr.
and Mrs. H. D. Mouzon Jr., of Mc-
Kinney, received his B.S. Degree
in Commerce at Summer Com-
mencement exercises in Landreth
Auditorium at Texas Christian
University in Fort Worth Friday
evening, August 23. Mouzon ma-,
jored in Finance.
He is a graduate of McKinney
High School and attended South-
ern Methodist University in Dal-
las two years before enrolling in
the T. C. U. School of Business.
Among those from McKinney
who attended Commencement ex-
ercises Friday night were Mr.
and Mrs. Mouzon Jr., Mrs. J. A.
McKey and Miss Ann Finney.

casions when those teams hap-
pened to make monkies of us.
Tom is a singer of note. He has
sung in quartetts, duets and solo
all overthis part of Texas, in
church, at funerals and other
laces. One time the late Rev.
6C. Horn told him to keep tab
W the number of times he sang.
Tom did this, and has appeared
before congregations and aud-
iences over 2,800 times.
