26 GENERAL LAWS.
for such fiscal year, and such sums as may be requqired to be paid
into any sinking fund or into any special fund or any special trust
fund of said city or town out of its revenues for such fiscal year.
Such warrants shall be dated and numbered consecutively as they
are issued, and shall become a lien upon the revenues of said city or
town for such fiscal year, available for the payment thereof, and
shall be paid consecutively according to their respective dates and
numbers as funds for the payment thereof become available.
SEC. 2. All laws and parts of laws in ocnflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. The fact that there is now no law authorizing the board
or commissioners or city councils of incorporated cities and towns
in this State to provide for the payment of interest or discount upon
warrants issued for the payment of current expenses creates an emergency
and an imperative public necessity that the constitutional rule
requiring blls to be read o nthree several days be suspended and
this Act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage,
and it is so enacted.
[NoTE.-The enrolled bill shows that the foregoing Act passed the
Senate, yeas 28, nays 0; and passed the House, yeas 95, nays 2.]

FORTY-SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT-AMENDING ACT
FIXING TIME OF HOLDING DISTRICT COURT THEREIN.
H. B. No. 167.] CHAPTER 16.
An Act to amend Chapter 12, General and Special Laws of Texas, of the First
Called Session of the Thirty-third Legislature, page 19, fixing the.time for
holding the terms of District Court in the Forty-seventh Judicial District,
legalizing all process issued or served before this Act takes effect, repealing
all laws in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 12, General and Special Laws of Texas,
of the First Called Session of the Thirty-third Legislature page 19,
be amended so as to hereafter read as follows:
Sec. 1. That the Forty-seventh Judcial District shall be composed
of the counties of Donley, Armstrong, Randall' and Potter, and the
terms of the district court shall be held therein as follows:
In the county of Donley on the second Monday in January, and
third Monday in July, and may continue in session four weeks.
In the county of Armstrong on the fourth Monday after the second
Monday in January and the fourth Monday after the third
Monday in July and may continue in session three weeks.
In the county of Randal on the seventh Monday after the second
Monday in January and the seventh Monday after the third Monday
in July, and may continue in session three weeks.
