tha A. Bell of Route 3, Rusk were
held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cal-
vary Baptist Church of Rusk. Rev.
Wayne C. Morrow and Rev. J. M.
Schwitter officiated. Burial was in
N. Juni-'ttlc Sardis Cemetery.

Cary of Rusk, Mrs. Pauline Welch,
Brownsville. Leonard, Martin, Ed-
gar, and Haymond Bell, all of
Houston, and Silas Bell of Jack-
sonville; three brothers. Jack, El-
bert and William Masters of
Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Geo-
rge Ann Warren of Linden, Mrs.
Cary Middleton of Summerfield
and Mrs. Francis Reed of Houston
and thirteen grandchildren.
Pallbearers were W. E. Cary,
Mickey Gambrell, Kermit Welch,
Jimmy Blackwell, Vernon Berry
and Lavoy Phillips.
Wallace Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.

3, Rusk, passed away Sunday eve-
ning at her home in the Salem
Community. She was born October
9, 1888 in Mississippi, and has liv-
ed in Salem 40 year^
Funeral services were held Mon-
day, 3 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral
Home Chapel by Rev. Lonnie
Webb and Rev. Oran Hill. Burial
; was in the Salem Cemetery,
j She is survived by three sons:
Carson Ellington of Rusk, Dewey
|Ellington of Houston and R. L.
Hines of Shreveport; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Annie Hill and Mrs. Al-
ma Faulkner, both of Nacogdoch-
es; two brothers, C. W. Simpson
of Chandler, Arizona, and A. N.
Simpson of Russelville, Ark; twel-
ve grandchildren and sixteen
great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were R. B. Walker,
Bobby Ellington, William Elling-
ton, Carl Hord, Norman Hill, Jam-
es and Gerald Perm.
Arrangements were by Wallace
Funeral Home.

shower Wednesday evening, June
8th from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the
home of Mrs. Cline.
The house was beautifully dec-
orated with seasonal flowers. In
the living room, the coffee table
and mantle each held a lovely ar-
irangement of Cape Jasmine and
| Ivy.
I The dining table was laid with
i an imported lace cloth over pink
Jand centered with a lovely ar-
rangement of blue and pink hy-
drangeas.
Mrs. Quinn registered the guests
and Mrs. Olaf Beard pinned a min-
iature pink or blue shoe on each
guest.
Miss Bobby L.ynn nassell served
individual cakes topped with tiny
pink and blue shoes, and Miss
Patti Matthews served the delic-
ious punch from a crystal bowl.
Mrs. Bobby Jennings assisted
the honoree with the beautiful
display of packages.
