The "Good-Will Club" met Fri
day afternoon, May 10, at 1:45
p.m. in the classroom of Mrs. Hel
en Finley.
President, Steven Tackett, call
ed the meeting to order. Secre-
tary, Curtis Hanson, read the min-
utes of the last meeting which
were corrected and approved.
Treasurer, Jerry Don Norton, gave
treasurer's report of $3.23. Presi
dent Steven Tackett turned the
meeting over to the program com-
mittee, Jerry Don Norton, Janis
Nicholson, Leslie Liles. The pro-
gram was an Arithmetic Race.

went surgery at Nan Travis Hos-
pital, was able to be brought to
her home Tuesday.
Herman Odom is receiving med-
ical treatment at Nan Travis Hos-
pital.
Mrs. Johnny Williams, Sr. was'
taken to Nan Travis hospital Tues-
day for treatment on her eye.

We've been having some more
rain. This time we don't think we
needed it.
Mr. Gordon Melvin of Texas
City spent the weekend with his
mother, Mrs. E. D. Melvin and
Claud.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gaston of
Lufkin spent Saturday night with
his mother, Mrs. Reba Gaston. '
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ivie, Jr. and
children of Center spent the week- |
end here. Mr. Ivie went back Mon-
day. She and the children are
spending the week here.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Dowling and
Mrs. Lizze Wallace of Alto came
by and picked up his sister, Mrs,
appointed captains: Steven Tack- lena Townsend, and they attend
