Last Friday night before the
kickoff, the homecoming queen
nominees and escorts were pre-
sented by Miss Judy Sales, sen-
ior of Rusk High School. Senior
nominees and escorts were:
Miss Diana Burton and Con-
nie Bailes, Miss Sheita Nor-
ton and Jimmy Akin, Miss Hel-
en Machen and Jimmy Mayo,
Miss Lynda Matlock and Steve
Boyette. Junior nominees and
escorts were: Miss Betty Jo i
Tosh and Bruce Stovall, Miss i
Bobbie luju Acker and Garland
(¡off. Miss Diann Banks and
Jerry Don Norton. Sophomore
nominees and escorts were Miss
fame Dickey and Donald Acker.
Miss Betty Jo Tosh, junior of
Rusk High School, was chosen
homecoming queen for 1961-62.
She was elected by the student
body of the high school.

and bad, help to make us a bet-
ter and wiser person.
We, the Seniors of '61 and '62,
would like to say to the lower
classmen — "Do your best in
school, for as we near the end
we realize how much we could
have done, but didn't. Don't
waste these years for they will
be the best and most carefree
ef your lives." We as Seniors
see that soon we will no longer
