Letter from Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath to members of the Congregation B'nai Israel discussing the sudden Romanian Jewish migration to Israel that was facilitated by the Romanian government. He expresses concern in financing this migration because the Romanian government had prevented publicity of this event. He discusses an Israeli tax that will attempt to combat some of the additional costs of migration. Last, he mentions ways that the American Jewish population can support the migrating Jews.
