Celebrates
2nd Birthday
With Party
Mark Nichols, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Rex Nichols, celebrated his
second birthday with a party Fri-
day, Apr il 30 at 3:30 in his home
on !hc Atoy Highway.
The party theme featured trains
—cars, caboose, etc.—staged on
| the patio area. Youngsters shar-
ing the festivity with Mark were
Hilly and Kcniny Finley, Kirby
and Kerry Smith, Gina Irwin,
Paul. Steve and Tracy Taylor, his
big brother Rex, Jr.; his aunt,
Mrs. William Tosh: his grand-
mothers, Mrs. Sam Nichols of
Austin and Mrs. Leo Tosh of
Rusk; also Mines. Earl Finley,
Jerry Smith, Kenneth Irwin and
John Taylor.
The refreshment table was cov-
ered with a white cloth, trimmed
wilh red and pink birthday trains.
A centerpiece was fashioned from
a large red and pink train, in-
scribed "No. 2". A chocolate cov-
ered three tiered birthday cake,
decorated' with yellow train tracks
and a miniature train, held two
burning candles. The cake with
ml punch and ice cream were
served.
Favors were party whistles, ti-
ny books entitled "Tommy Ca-
boose", and also bubble gum.
