Some time ago I announced in
our local papers as candidate for
treasurer for our county. It was
my utmost ambition and desire to
see all voters in our county in per-
son, but under present conditions
it was impossible for me to do so
for I am situated as the average
man of today is, striving from
morning until night for our daily
bread for our dear and loved ones.
However, I am contemplating on
seeing as many voters as possible
from now until election day. Should
it be impossible to meet you, I
wish to ask you again for your
vote and support, and should you
see fit to honor me with this posi-
tion as your Treasurer, I will pro-
mise that I will perform my duties
as your Treasurer honestly and
faithfully to you people of Gilles-
pie County.
Respectfully yours,
Henry Blum
