MENTAL Illness Docket
Action listed on the mental
illness docket include a
judgment entered in the case of
Ellen Fox. Also a protective
custody order, order setting of
hearing and a notice of hearing
in the case of Virgil Malcolm
Rhodes.
Probation Docket
An order was entered on the
probation docket discharing
two defendants from probation
and dismissing the cause. The
cases concerned were John
Ralph Goodwin and Oscar
Doyle Chandler.
Probate Docket
The probate docket lists two
orders of sale for Erica Denise
Wynne and Silverene A.
Holcomb. In the case of Henry
Priston Miller, an order
authorizing guardian to cash a
certificate of deposit was
entered. Order was also given
for the release of guardian and
bondsmen and closing the
estate in the case of James
Michael Leinback.

SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Fourteen were arrested by
the sheriff's department for
drunkenness. Five were book-
ed for driving while intoxicat-
ed.
Other crimes listed were one
threat to take a life; two
criminal mischief; driving on
the wrong side of the road; hit
and run; worthless check;
disorderly conduct and pos-
session of marijuana.
JUSTICE OF THE PEACE
Citations issued during the
past week through the office of
the justice of the peace include
17 for speeding. Also listed
were tickets for failure to dim
lights, three drunken pedes-
trians, operating a motorcycle
without a helmet, left from the
wrong side of the road.
Also a violation of promise to
appear, a failure to stop and
render aid and one taking of a
wallet with $1.600 inside.

Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Holcomb
and children Marni and Nina of
College Station visited parents
Mr. and Mrs. Perkins Holcomb
and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Guinn
Thursday. Nina remained
here until Sunday when her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Guinn took her home.
