Newcomers To RSH
Randy and Gerri Godsey are relatively new to Rusk State Hospital. Randy is a
staff psychologist in the Maximum Security Unit while Gerri serves as assistant
Coordinator for Volunteer Services. The Godseys make their home in Gallatin
where they are restoring Mrs. Zadie Godsey's, Randy's grandmother, house.

Couple Begins Work At Hospital
Randy and Gerri Godsey
are relatively recent new-
comers to Rusk State
Hospital coming from jobs
in Lufkin, according to Joe
Rozelle, Volunteer Ser-
vices Coordinator.
Randy is serving as a
staff psychologist in the
Maximum Security Unit
while Gerri began work
effective Sept. 1 as the
assistant coordinator of
Volunteer Services.
He received his masters
degree in psychology in
1975 from Texas A&M. He
interned two years at Rusk
State Hospital so he's well
acquainted with the
hospital. While in Lufkin.
he worked for the Deep
East Texas Mental Health-
Mental Retardation
organization. Randy noted
that he was a fishing and
hunting enthusiast.
Gerri received her BA
degree in 1975 from North

laneous wedding shower in
the community room at
First State Bank in Rusk
Guests calling between
the appointed hours of 5 to 7
p m. were registered at a
table holding the bride's
book of blue, plume pen
and a bridal doll The table
was covered with a blue
cloth w ith a deep white lace
trim.
Refreshments of banana
cake squares iced in white
and topped with blue buds,
punch, nuts and mints were
served to guests The
refreshment table featured
a blue cloth with a deep
w hite lace floor length trim
and crystal and silver
appointments A deep
brown dried eucalyptus
arrangement centered the
table A pair of crystal
candelabra holding deep
brown tapers were
featured at each end of the
table
Gifts were displayed on
one long table featuring a
white lace runner The
traditional bride and
groom cake ornament
highlighted the table. Gifts
were also displayed on two
smaller tables covered
with white linen cloths
featuring lace trim

psychology with a minor in
business admininstration.
She worked at the Lufkin
National Bank before
coming to RSH. Her duties
at RSH will involve
orientation, recruiting and
training of volunteer
workers.
Randy explained that his
father, Wilber Godsey, was
born and raised in Jack-
sonville and his mother,
Lillian Lane, was initially
from Gallatin.
The couple is presently
making their home in Gal-
latin in the former resi-
dence of Randy's grand-
mother. Mrs. Zadie Lane,
who is presently making
her home in Houston. Mr.
and Mrs. Godsey are trying
to restore the old home by
remodelling it. They claim
they enjoy the quiet
country living in Gallatin.

In Rusk
W&W Electronics opened
for business in Rusk Satur-
day. The formal openirg
concluded with a drawing
for a 23 channel CB unit.
Billy Max Milstead was the
lucky winner of the door
prize.
"We are grateful for the
warm response to our new
business expansion in
Rusk," states Henry West-
brook. one of the owners.
Westbrook. with Jack
Waldie. opened a similar
store in Tyler a year ago.
The business will provide
sales and service of
popular name brand CB
units. Kent Kyle is the
manager of the company,
open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
