the cheerleaders led the first yell
in the pep rally Friday. The en-
tire student body was full of pep
and energy, and they let it be
known by really yelling with the
cheerleaders.
The majorettes did a routine
to the music of "Cotton Candy.”
The zenith of the pep rally was
the pep talks given by David
Keahey, Barry Burrage, and Bob-
by Graham. These three captains
let the students know that the
Eagles were out to bring home a
victory.
Everyone stood for the school
song. The pep rally ended after
the cheerleaders led “Good Luck.”

Thursday, Sept. 24, the Senior

The final score of the Canton

Benny Frank Faglie scored late
in the first quarter on a twenty-

Frank Todd scored on a quick

The students of CHS are to be
complimented on their behavior
in the halls. Many of them seem
to realize how important cooper-
ation is to a smooth 5-minute
break between classes. They
don't like to be pushed or step-
ped on themselves and want to
show others the same amount of
courtesy. If we all work togeth-
er to avoid careless behavior in
the halls, the five minutes can
be something to look forward to
instead of dreading.
Peggy Walters, a senior, has
been a twirler for three years.
