Crysup-Hamill united in marriage
Tracy DeAnn Hamill and John
Michael Cryaup were united in mar-
riage in a double ring ceremony on
May 16, in the First United Method-
ist Church of Cleburne. The Rev.
' James L. Finley officiated.

mothers of the bride, Mrs. Edna Boyd
and Mrs. Margaret Hamill of
Cleburne, and grandmother of the
groom, Mrs. June Crysup of Rusk
and Katie Covington of Alto.
The altar was decorated with two
brass candlesticks and an open Bible.
Pedestals on either side of the altar
held arrangements of rubrum lilies
and gladioli.
The registry table at the entrance
to the narthex was attended by Mrs.

Chorus" from "Lohengrin".
The bride was escorted by her fa-
ther, Mr. Dennis Hamill, and step-
father, Mr. Paul Benavidez.
The bride wore a sheath gown of
white silk shantung, designed by
ChristoB. The all lace bodice fea-
tured a portrait neckline and short
bonnet sleeves. The molded bodice,
VD in the back, was entirely veiled
with re-embroidered alencon lace,
heavily beaded with pearls and
irridescent sequins. The slim skirt
and flared chapel length train were
deeply bordered with the jewelled
lace. Her veil of imported French
illusion fell from a bandeau of
matching beaded lace, and swept
beyond her train. She carried a
cascade bouquet of white bridal
roses, rubrum lilies and stephano-
tis.
Miss Shannon Hauk, a friend
from Cleburne, was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Miss
Misty Johnson, cousin of the bride

gowns of black and white taffeta
featuring sweetheart necklines.

pleated design and two-tiered cap
sleeves, was accented with a bow at
the waist. They carried cascade
bouquets of white bridal roses,
rubrum lilies and stephanotis.

boutonniere. His attendants and
ushers also wore black tuxedos with
white wedding rose boutonnieres.
After the exchanging of vows,
"The Lord's Prayer" and "Our Love
i n Christ" were sung by Mrs. Prince.
Mendelssohn's "Wedding March"
was played as the recessional after
the couple was introduced'as Mr.
and Mrs. John Michael Crysup.
A reception hosted by Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Benavidez was held in
the church parlor following the cer-
emony. A portrait of the bride was
displayed on an easel upon entrance.
The bride's table was covered with
a white linen table cloth. The three-
tiered white cake with basket weave
icing was decorated with fresh flow-
ers. The bride's bouquet was placed
next to the crystal punch bowl.
The groom's two-tiered cake was
German chocolate with chocolate
frosting and decorated with candy
leather grapes. Coffee was served
from a silver service. Atable of hors
d'oeuvres was also available to the
