Whitney Conner and David Bali announce their
engagement and approaching marriage. The bride-
elect is the daughter of Penny Conner of Conroe
and Kevin Conner of Rusk. Mr. Ball is the son of
Kim and Archie Nickle of Rusk and David Bali of
Katy. The couple will be married at 7 p.m. Dec. 20
at the Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk.
Family and friends are invited.
50th anniversary
Ouida Jo James and J.L. Pyie were married in Alto
Dec. 23,1955. They now reside in Houston. Mr. and
Mrs. Pyle have one daughter and son-in-law, Jaleea
Pyle and Dr. Harry D. Holmes and a grandson, Colin
R. George.

Cherokee County Health Department. Vaccinations are available at the Rusk

citizens begin gathering at the nutrition
site at approximately 10 a.m. and remain
until 1:30 p.m.
