Kendall County
Some persons (or perhaps
persons) started in on the old
87 Highway near the Rae
Easley Hill and travelled down
the road to near Waring slash-
ing and cutting about 21 mail
boxes located on this road.
It is believed an axe or
hatchet was used to destroy
the boxes, and that the act of
vandalism took place between
the hours of 7:30 and 10,

Ambulance Makes Calls
The ambulance was busy ‘
this week when they made
several calls and transferred
injured persons to a San An-
tonio hospital.
One of those carried to the
hospital early Wednesday
was Mr. Ralph W. Fisher, a
resident of Silver Hills. He
was pronounced dead on ar-
rival.

brary for Story Hour for
pre-schoolers. The program
will run from March 12 to
May 18. Classes will be held
each Tuesday morning at the
Boerne Library. The times
for the various age groups
are as follows: 5-year-olds,
8:30; 4-year-olds, 9:30; 8-
year-olds, 10:30. Each class
will be 55 minutes long. Par-
ents are urged to pick up
their children at the appro-
priate time, so that the fol-
