allow more funds to be given

had written to this
representative expressing
their support of this bill.
There was another letter
from AACOG (Alamo Area

The Boerne County Line
ISD is making an effort to
determine the feasibility of
holding summer school. Last
year, summer classes were
not held and it proved to be a
hardship to a number of
students in the district who
had to make up work they
needed badly. The district
cited a lack of interest as the
reason for not holding
classes, although little
publicity was given to the
project. This year you have a
chance to voice your
thoughts at the May school
trustee meeting. The admini-
stration has suggested that
your wishes be made known,
by your son or daughter, to
the counselor. This should be
done as soon as possible since
the district would like to
have 16 students per class in
order to make the summer
program feasible. The
proposal is also going to be
included on the May 12th
agenda of the school trustees
and they would urge all of
those who strongly are
interested in a summer
program to be present and
make their wishes known.
