Boerneites are road running again! KIM and JOHN
HISLOP had a fantastic trip to England and
Scotland... KAREN and DR. PHILLIP CRA VEN took
their children to Big Bend, while SUE and HOMER
HARRISON had a fling in New Orleans... A couple of
weeks ago, EILEEN and WA YNE LEBLEU and DR.
JOHN FOCKE took their children on a skiing trip.
That old joke about breaking your leg is no joke
anymore to EILEEN. Hope you're up and around by
now!... PAT ALLEN has just returned from Acapulco
with a nice tan.. .GAYEASTWOOD and her mother,
MRS. REED, are on a cruise of the Greek Isles while
their hubbies are home keeping everything under con-
trol. .. As wife JEAN was visiting relatives in Califor-
nia, MADISON GRIEDER and his sister, MARTHA
COLLINS, did the same in Dallas... ANGIE and
TRA VIS MILLER and LuRAE and RICHARD BAGGS
did Las Vegas recently, or did Vegas do them!... Well
back to the home front. Many localites have been enter-
taining guests who chose Boerne for their vacations.
LORRAINE and WALT SOWLES have been showing
daughters, PAT and LINDA, all the sights. They visited
from Michigan... VERA and J. L. LEDBETTOR were
guests of EDNA MAE and HE A VY HA WORTH. They
especially enjoyed the Boerne Dance Club's dance
Saturday night and visiting with many old friends...

been being used for city
engineering purposes and he

the City to purchase their

St. Peter’s Youth Talent
Show was a huge success.
The audience was continu-
ously entertained throughout
18 high-quality acts,
introduced by MC’s Maribeth
Sexton and Kevin Fiedler.
After deliberation, the
judges awarded prizes to the
following acts: Honorable
Mention—Donna Ludolph
and Mark Lindkvist (dance to
“So Long, Honey Lamb”);
3rd—Paul Herrera (as
Kermit singing “The
Rainbow Connection”); 2nd—
Sabrina Adrian (piano solo,
“Rhapsody in Blue); 1st—
Byron Keeling and Clint
Herbst (original electric
guitar and drum duet).
Judges were Mrs. Linda
Elliot and Mrs. Betty Zoeller.
Student director was Sandra
Bower.
St. Peter’s CYO would like
