More than 100 persons attended
an evening of fellowship at St. Paul
Lutheran Church, Rt. 1 (Rehburg),
Burton, on Sunday, July 16. ~
Members of the church brought
"pot luck” lunches and shared the
evening meal in pleasant fellow-
ship. ' . '
Featured in the evening was a
brief program by students of the
recent Vacation Church School.
The students sang hymns, recited
Bible verses and commandments
which ’'they had learned during
their study. The entire congregation
joined in singing several of the
children’s hymns. Following the
program, the congregation viewed
the movie, "The Measure of A
Man.” ,
one highlight of the evening was
recreation for all. ’ While young-
sters enjoyed croquet and other
activities, adults and I
shared many fast and
games of volleyball. The entire
evening was topped-off by home-
made toe cream served by the Lu-
ther Leaguers. J J__
