As usual at this time of year, the Boerne Kiwanis Club will
conduct its major fund raiser. This is the Club’s Annual Wild
Game Dinner that has been so well received by the men of the
community for the past several years.
The Boerne Kiwanis Annual Wild Game Dinner is put on
by the members of the local Kiwanis Club with the help of
many of their wives. The Wild Game Dinner is a major plann-
ing and logistical operation. Coordinating such things as
tickets, facilities, seating, and prizes plus the preparation of
venison, Barbado, white wing dove, Russian boar, beverages,
appetizers, and desserts takes a dedicated group and much
hard work.
We in the Boerne Kiwanis Club believe the previous suc-
cess of the Boerne Kiwanis Annual Wild Game Dinner has
been due to two factors: hard work and community support.
All funds raised by the Boerne Kiwanis Club from this and
other projects are returned to the local community. Park im-
provement, EMS, youth projects, and senior citizen projects
are but a few of the items we support and encourage.
So, Ladies, — IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN — Support your
community. Buy your husband or boy friend a ticket to the
Boerne Kiwanis Annual Wild Game Dinner. He will be pleas-
ed as punch if he should win this year’s Ruger 7mm magnum
grand prize rifle. If he doesn’t win the grand prize, there are
a multitude of other prizes for his hunting, fishing, and camp-
ing enjoyment.
