Miss Ruth Secrest entertained a
few friends delightfully with a slum-
ber party Friday night Assisted
by her mother, Mrs. J. E. Secrest,
the hostess served a three course
dinner on the beautiful lawn at 6
o'clock, after which the girls enjoy-
ed an excellent picture show at the
Happy Hour Theater. At the home
of the hostess again the guests at-
tired in boudoir gowns gave an im-
promptu concert, and dance, ate
ice cream and other danties until
the cock crew thrice when they
went to sleep. The invitations were
happily planned to serve as souv-
enirs of the occasion, the following
lines being written on dainty note
