“They My a football team
often reflects the true per-
sonality of the football
coach, and if that is the case,
Gordon Wood must a class
man. His football team was a
first class outfit.
“We like to see the type
team they are perform. They
work like a precision in-
strument, both offensively
and defensively
“More important than
their precision was their
conduct There was no late
hitting, no cheap shots, and
no arguments and hardly
any penalties.
“It was a pleasure to play
a team as disciplined and as
talented as the Brownwood
Lions. Brownwood is a great
team.”
Obviously it was another
season well-spent for Wood,
