The Decatur district of the North
Texas conference of the M. E. Church
South, is no more. At a recent meet-
ing of the church's high oficials in
Dallas the Decatur district was ab-
sorbed by the Bowie district, and
the next presiding elder for this dis-
trict will reside in Bowie. This
change is said to have been brought
about by a growingdemand for a new
district in the northwestern part of
the territory covered by the confer-
ence .

arranged to hold an evangelistic
meeting in Decatur, beginning next
