"On Our Way To A High Note" is the theme of the closing weeks of the
United Jewish Campaign (UJC). Two weeks of activities beginning Sunday,
Mar. 25, are planned to allow everyone in the community to participate in
the effort to reach the 1990 Campaign goal of $8 million.
Chaired by members of the Women's Young Leadership Cabinet of the
United Jewish Appeal, the activities include everything from a community-
. wide family concert to face-to-face solicitations.

The AICF's Houston Chapter is enrolling new
members and initiating new activities in an ef-
fort to help gifted young artists and musicians

The 1990 David H. White M emorial Award Se-
lection Committee has set a Mar. 20 deadline for
nominations for the coveted award given annually
to a man or woman from the Houston Jewish
community. Avrohm Wisenberg,1988 recipient, is
chairing the Selection Committee.
The D. H. White Award is presented at the JCC
annual meeting to an individual whose life and
deeds reflect the qualities associated with DaVid
