For beau y, simplicity of construction, unex-

movement, remarkable perfection in their stitch-
ing. and freedom irom derangement and need of
repairs,
THEY DEFY ALL COMPETITION I
They have taken the highest premium at every
State fair in the Union where they have competed.
We may instance the State fails at New York,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois,
Wisconsin and California; and the Cincinnati, De-
troit. Chicago and St. Louis Mechanical Institutes.
At the recent fair in St. Louis the committee con-
sisted of twenty-five ladies, who, without a dis-
senting voice, awarded the highest and only pre-
mium (a silver pitcher valued at $75) to the
WHEELER & WILSON MACHINE!
If these facts do not establish their superiority,
we do not know what can.
As further evidence of their merit we refer to
some of the planters and especially to some of the
ladies of this county, who have been using them
for months, and some for years : Col. B. L. Hol-
combe, Hon. W. T. Scott, Kev H. Ware. L. E.
Lister. B. F. McClarty. J. L. Sherrod. Wm. Cox.
8. R. Perry, J. H. Callaway, Mrs. D. L. Sud-
duth and Mrs. S. J. Richardson.
Having thoroughly tested the merits of the va-
rious Machins for several years past, and finding
the WVheeler & Wson the best suited for
plantation and general household sewing, and
finding a demand for good Machines in Eastern
and Northern Texas, I have obtained the agency
for the above, and will supply them to purchasers
at the manufacturer’s prices, with freight added.

Macline=Needles, Twist & Thread.
Every Machine I sell is warranted and the pur-
chasers taught to use them until they are satisfied
of their ability to operate without calling in a Ma-
chinest to keep them in repair.
I will also instinct those who nurchase other
machines to use them and repair them for a rea-
sonable price but cannot afford to do it for nothing.
Being satisfied that persons in this vicinity will
save time, money and trouble by purchasing Ma-
chines from me, I respectfully ask them to call
and examine before sending off upon uncertainties
to a foreign market.
