Does the question of
correct dress interest you ?
CORRECT DRESS DEMANDS STYLE
AND APPROPRIATENESS
IHE SAN ANIuMU LIGHT
From the Superb Assemblage
EMPIRE THEATER
Do you know what to wear and when
to wear it? If you know do you put
your knowledge into practice? Do you
know that the correctly dressed man is
the successful one?
It must be remembered that ap-
propriateness and style are the first
principles of correct dress. Wear the
clothes that the occasion demands. If
a Tuxedo is required wear a Tuxedo.
Likewise dress appropriately’ wherever
you may be. Wear knickers on the golf
links and a sack suit for business.
When io Wear a Tuxedo .
At the dance.
At the theater.
At the banquet.
At most dinners.
At informal parties.
At formal weddings.
Clothes for General Wear
Wear a business suit for informal daytime
occasions traveling or business. A blue serge
eoat with white flannel trousers is appropriate
on the Roof however Tuxedo is preferable.
Wear tweed coat and flannel trousers in the
country. A wedding demands a blue or black
sack suit Tuxedo or a cutaway. On the golf
links wear knickers and gum soled shoes. Ten-
nis shoes and white linens or flannels are re-
quirements of the tennis courts. At home you
may wear a house suit. Never ruin your ap-
pearance by flashy contrasts of colors. Always
make sure that your clothes are stylish. Ask
your haberdasher he knows.
