If you will look at your map
you will see that Korea is a -pen-
insula jutting out into the sea of
Japan, a hundred miles from Tok-
yo. It is bounded on the northwest
iby Manchuria for some 500 miles,
and its landed area is within 100
miles of Russia's Vladivostok. In
area it is a third the size of Texas
but with more than four times as
many people.
