King met Sarnia in Paris and
courted her there and in Cairo. Aft-
er their love blossomed, he em-
braced the Moslem faith and ac-
quired the name Abdullah.
Then it was disclosed he hadn't
been divorced from Gloria, whom
he married twice.
She tried for an annulment at
Houston Monday but Houston Atty.
Robert L., Sonfield intervened to
delay the case.
Sonfield said at Houston the

King drove in from Houston yes-
terday.
"Those fin tails on that Cadillac
were wiggling all the way," he
said.
King said his wealthy mother,
Mrs. Bonner King of Houston, was
reconciled to his marriage to Sa-
mia.
“She got mad at me when I re-
married Gloria and I guess this
divorce will make her happy.
“I really think she would have
been sore if I had given up Epis-
copalianism to become a Baptist
or something, hut I don't think she
minds my being a Moslem,” he
said.
King said he will leave late in
November for Cairo and "We'll get
married as soon as I get there.”
I guess you could say champagne
is my regular drink, but I'll be on
Tequila until Sunday.
"When I get there, I'm going to
drown Egypt in champagne. You
won’t be able to tell Cairo from
the Nile except that the Nile will
be filled with water," he added.
