the bride of R D. Moore of Val-
ere Dec. 7 in the Velere BapUst
Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs L. H. Traylor of Val-
era and the granddaughter of Mrs.
W. T. Kelley of Tsipa. The bride-
groom is the son of Mrs. Tina
Moore of Valera.
Rev. Bill Johnson and Rev. L. L.
Hatfield read the ceremony.
Vivian Neely, pianist, played the
traditional nuptial marches and
accompanied Wayland Wald who
sang “I Love You Truly".
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a tailored navy
suit with navy accessories Four
white chrysanthemums tied with
white satin streamers topped her
white Bible.
Mrs. Floyd Moore of Bangs, sis-

A reception was held in the
reception room of the church. The
bride's table, decorated with white
chrysanthemums and greenery,
was centered with a three-tlered
wedding cake topped with a minia-
ture bride and bridegroom.
After a wedding trip the couple
will live in Valera, where he is
employed by the Santa Fe.

crumbs over the almonds and
spreads thickened chicken broth
over the top. She bakes the dish in
a moderate oven for 20 minutes.

The Nemirs live at 4065 Potomac
Dr. Mr. Nemir is an attorney with
the firm of Brooks, Fergus, Nemir,
and Brooks. Son Jimmy is five
years old. Mr. and Mrs. Nemir bo-
long to the Petroleum Club and the
Country Club.
Mrs. Nemir is state treasurer of
the United States Daughters of
1812. She also belongs to the Book
Review Unit of the Woman's For-
um, American Association of Uni-
versity Women, Daughters of the
American Revolution, and United
Daughters of the Confederacy.
Besides her club work, Mrs. Ne-
mir likes to knit and play golf.

Stamford Garden Club will send
candy, cookies and gifts to the Vet-
erans Hospital at Kerrville for the
Christmas season. These are to
be taken to the club meeting Dec.

Annual Christmas dinner of the
employes of the Lone Star Gaa
Co., and their wives and families
was held at its camp north of Bal-
linger.

rations were used. Tables were
centered with a silver tree deeo-
rated with lolly-pops.

white Bible topped with a white
orchid and orange blossoms.

F. V. Roberta, Mrs. Bess Hatfield
and Randolph and Jimmy Robert-
son. Denver, Colo., visited Mr. and
Mrs. W. B. Guess. They helped
celebrate Mrs. Roberts' 90th birth-
day. Other visitors were Mr and
Mrs. Harlan King of Seymour and
Mr and Mrs. H. E. Barber, Semi-
