is held by her mother, will leave Throckmorton Sept. 1
bound for Tripoli to join Captain Crawford. He is chief of
Middle East Psychological Warfare stationed at Wheelus
Field. Mrs. Crawford and her children are visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Whitaker, in Throckmorton.
She is the former Doris Fay Whitaker, and is a graduate of
Throckmorton High School and North Texas State College. •

TUSCOLA, Aug 26 (RNS)—The
Rev. and Mrs. Milton Baty visited
in Stephenvile with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Baty. Betty
Baty, daughter of the Tuscola cou-
ple. is spending a week in Mun-
day with her friend, Patsy Tid-
well. Rev. Baty is pastor of the
Baptist church here.
COLEMAN, Aug. 26 (RNS) -
Chantilly lace and nylon tulle fash-
ioned the bridal gown worn by
Mary Frances Williams in her Sat-
urday wedding to Orton G. Keatts
of Dallas.
She is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. F. C. Williams of Santa Anna
His parents are Mr. and Mrs. G.
P. Keatts of Fort Worth. .
Gilbert Allan, minister of the
West Baker Church of Christ in
Brownwood, read the double ring
ceremony at 6 p.m. in the First
Methodist Church in Santa Anna.
An arch of greenery and white
gladioli, flanked by floor baskets
of white gladioli, decorated the
ebureh.
Freda Reeves of Brownwood,
was organist, and accompanied
Sandra Shields of Santa Anna who
sang ■’Because" and "The Lords
Prayer.”
The bride was given in marriage
by her father The lace bodice of
her gown featured a stand-up col-
lar trimmed with rhinestones and
seed pearls. Bouffant tiered skirt
of tulle appliqued with lace fea-
tured a front panel of lace and
extended into a chapel train. ,
Fingertip tulle veil was fastened
to a satin and pearl bandeau.
Pearl earrings belonging to her
mother was her jewelry. Her bou-
quet was stephanotis and garden-
las. ..
: , Cynthia Diane Williams of Santa
— Anna, sister of the bride, was maid
ding ring cake. Punch bowl was 1
encircled with tern and white ear-
nations. Appointments were in 1
crystal and silver.
Sharon Clements served the
wedding cake and Nancy Elledge
ladled punch. Mrs. Edward Burt
registered guests.
When the couple left for the
Davis ‘Mountains, Mrs. Keatts was
wearing a pale blue silk pique suit
with white accessories. Her cor-
sage was white gardenias.
The will live at 807 Avenue D
in Denton.
The bride will be a junior at
North Texas State College and is
a membee of the Future Teachers
of America. The bridegroom, also
a Junior, is a member of the Delta
Sigma Phi Fraternity.

The V. A. Robersons spent Wed-
nesday in Anson with the Harve
Whitaker family. Mrs Whitaker is
Mrs. Roberson’s sister.
Mrs. Rex Reddell accompanied
by her daughter, Mrs. Carrol Ben-
son. and daughter, Ann, of Merkel
drove to San Antonio to visit M-
Sgt. and Mra. A. R. Reddell and
family. Set Reddell is the son of
the Rex Reddells.
Week end visitors to De Lena
were the W. L. McCormick fam-
ily who were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Elmon Kerby. The Kerbys
