One of the happiest occasions for
the college boys and girls was last
Friday evening when Mrs. L Stall-
Ings and Mrs. G. B. Morris enter-
tained the seniors of 1923 with a
surprise “Progress Party." The girls
had been blinded by being invited
to the home of Mr. and Mrs.’ Guy
Farmer for dinner. No sooner had
they all arrived until Mrs. S. Stal-
ings with her car full of boys are

One of the most friendly and dee

Miss Thelma and Miss Loyd Por-
ter were joint hostesses at Christ-"
mas "84" Thursday afternoon when
five tables of guests spent a most
enjoyable afternoon at the games
and greeting the Christmas visitors.
The Porter home was especially ate
tractive in holiday decorations of
red and green, which with its base
kets of poinsettias, Christmas tree
and electric glow of green and red
carried out the Christmas thought.
Receiving were Miss Thelma Porter,
Miss Lord Porter, their sister, Mrs.
John Croft of Mineral Wells, and
mother, Mrs. C. T. Porter. Crystal

passed and enjoyed during the
