HOME RAISED COFFEE
W. C. Williams who lives one
mile west of town brought to the
Bee Office on last Monday a stalk ol
of the Cole colic plant cultivated
by him. The stalk is fifteen inches
iu ieiith and heavily fruited in clus
terer pods each pods containing
two berries. Mr. Williams raised
several pounds last year and plan-
ted enough this year to make about
one half of coffee grains which are
ful|y matured and whenpached and
ground has the color and flavor of
the pure rio coffee and when dis-
tilled and drank il cannot be told
fr«m th imported coffee. This be-
ing the case eyery man should cul-
tivated a pach of Cole coffee. It
grows ami is laden like the dwarf
bunch beaus. Batesville Bee.
GET AWAY FROM THE CROWD
The following fronr Robert Bur-
dette has been a source of help to
some. I give It thinking perhaps
some other young man may get
some good Iron: it: ‘‘(let away
from the crowd a little while every
day my dear boy. Stand to one
side and let the world run by while
yon get acquainted whith yourself;
find out all you can about yourself.
Ascertain from original sources it
you are really the manner of man
people say you are; if you always
tell the square perfect truth in bus
iness deals; if your life is as good
and upright at. 11 o'clock as it is at
noon; if you are as good a temper
aiice man on a llsliing excursion as
you are at a Sunday school picnic;
if you are as good a boy when you
go in the city as you are al home; il
In short you are really the sort ol
man your lather hopes you are ami
your sweet heai 1 believes you are.
Get on Intimate terms with your
self my boy and believe me every
time you come out ol these inter-
views you will be a stronger piner
better man don't forget this I'elc-
machus and it will do you good. '
