Proud to be Drug Free
The Leonard Elementary Resource Class celebrated Red Ribbon Week this week with a project. The class, taught by Debbie Gauntt, used the special week as an opportunity to also learn the prediction
and counting objective. The students in the class first predicted how many red cups it would take to spell out DRUG FREE in the fence running along the south side of the elementary school. On Monday,
the kids spelled out the words and then counted the cups used to see how well they had predicted. The red cups were donated to the kids by B&B Foods.
